From Batu Pahat to Puchong
I was born in Batu Pahat in 1971.
I trained as an engineer, and for years my job was to make complicated things work for clients across the Asia-Pacific.
An engineer's habit
Engineers have a simple habit: measure the problem, fix the cause, then check that the fix holds. When I became a Subang Jaya municipal councillor in 2008, I brought that habit with me.
Patching a pothole is easy. Fixing the drain underneath, so the pothole doesn't come back, is the real job.
Building Selangor
Today I look after investment, trade and mobility for the Selangor State Government. Investment figures can sound abstract, so I judge them with one test: do they become good jobs for Selangorians?
In 2024 Selangor recorded RM101 billion in approved investments. That same year we opened an IC design park in Puchong so young Malaysian engineers can design chips here at home, instead of leaving to do it abroad.
And because a good job means little if the trip to work takes two hours, we keep improving the free Smart Selangor buses and the on-demand vans that reach streets big buses can't.
Serving Kinrara
Since 2013, the people of Kinrara have trusted me as their assemblyman. Every week, residents bring us problems big and small: a flooded road, a broken streetlight, a family that needs help to get through the month.
That trust is the foundation of everything I do for Selangor. Our door is open to everyone, whoever you voted for.
Let's build together
I can't build Selangor alone. Tell me what needs fixing. Show me what's working. Let's build Selangor together.
